Festival of Giants, Douai, France – 7-9th June 2018
The first outing for our Circus dance costumes was at Sandown Carnival. Despite strong winds, our performers danced really well and the costumes looked fantastic.
Ryde Arts Open Evening @ The Depozitory 29th June 2018
A group of ten Tigers travelled to Douai in northern France and performed in this traditional carnival involving Giant puppets, known locally as Les Gayants. Thanks to Rosemary Richards of Rosa Productions for filming. We appeared in the local papers too.

One Life Festival – 6th June 2018
This year’s IOW Festival saw Shademakers once again take part in the Strongbow Epic Entrance – wearing the Roman costumes provided, we marched the Winner through the site and into the Strongbow enclosure. In another, far more chilled out place on site, we danced with with children in the Kids Zone.
Our performers took part in the Isle of Wight’s first festival specifically for adults with learning difficulties. It took place at Tapnell Farm on the 6th June 2018.
